During the late fall to early spring, Amity members put down their clubs and gather for food and drink. Dinner events often feature prominent guest speakers from politics, media and sports at well-known restaurants. This past year’s slate of speakers included NFLPA Executive Director DeMaurice Smith, Washington Wizard Radio Play-By-Play Announcer Dave Johnson, Dr. Gary Rendsburg with a presentation on the history of the Dead Sea Scrolls, and ESPN baseball analyst Tim Krirkjian.
